I come to my position as a therapist from a medical background. I hold clinical mental health experience in rural county mental health and in eating disorder centers, treating folks therapeutically from all backgrounds, and with a wide variety of diagnoses and struggles.

My work now in private practice focuses on working with individuals who want to build stronger relationships with themselves and those most important to them. I continue training in Psychodynamic theory, Emotionally Focused Therapy, and behavioral therapies like ACT and CBT to support this work.

As a therapist I am highly relational; I don't just listen, I also engage with you and your ideas throughout each session. I welcome all to my practice. I am a HAES (Health At Every Size) and body positive practitioner.

Attachment theory, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Psychoanalytic and Psychodynamic Theories, Person Centered (Rogerian) Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment (ACT) therapies.

Sometimes insurance plans offer you "Out-Of-Network" coverage reimbursement. I am happy to provide a detailed receipt for your services referred to as a "Superbill" for you to submit to your insurance, if that is a benefit that your insurance provides to you. I encourage you to connect with your insurance provider to confirm if you're eligible for these benefits

GOOD FAITH ESTIMATES

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost. Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.

You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.
Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.
Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
